Hello from our CEO
Zsofia Varhelyi
Hi, I’m Zsofia, the founder of Coast 2 Coast Experience. I’m passionate about helping people build their careers and global networks while discovering the world.
I’m originally from Hungary, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Milton Friedman University. But my love for travel and new cultures quickly pushed me to take my first big leap abroad.
My journey started in Greece, where I worked in the Food & Beverage industry while backpacking across the islands. From there, I joined an Au Pair program in California, caring for three lively boys, before spending years at sea as a Corporate Trainer with Carnival Cruise Lines. After “shiplife,” I continued my adventure through a J-1 trainee program in South Carolina and Georgia, gaining experience in recruitment and building meaningful connections. Later, I moved to London, and eventually to Dubai, where I joined the pre-opening HR team at the Waldorf Astoria.
Each of these experiences shaped me and showed me how life-changing international opportunities can be. That’s why I created Coast 2 Coast Experience—to support students and young professionals in finding their own global paths, while connecting employers with outstanding, hospitality-minded talent.
