Zsofia Varhelyi
After growing up in Hungary and earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, I moved to Greece and worked in the Food & Beverage industry while backpacking and camping throughout the Greek Islands. It was an adventurous and amazing experience. My next move was participating in a J-1 Au Pair program where I was looking after 3 energetic boys in California. After my 1-year Au Pair experience, I moved on to work for Carnival Cruise Lines and spent 2 contracts on luxury cruise ships as a Corporate Trainer. It was a challenging position, however, since I love challenges, it was a rewarding and great learning experience. I met some of the most amazing people along the way and visited a lot of gorgeous places I have only dreamed of before. After my ‘shiplife’, I went on to a J-1 trainee program and moved to the United States to South Carolina for the next 18 months. I was in recruitment and learned a lot during my program. I am still friends with all the inspirational people I met during this time. After South Carolina, I found myself back in Europe and moved to London to experience one of the most multicultural cities in the world. After a few months, I was onto a new adventure. I spent a year in Dubai as part of a Waldorf Astoria pre-opening HR team. It was fascinating to see and experience the Arabic culture. I now live in California and I never know what the future holds.
I started this company because I truly believe in the value and life changing effects of traveling and living abroad. Experiencing a new country is not only helping you to step out of your comfort zone, but it also teaches you about how to adapt to new situations easier, how to be a better verbal and non-verbal communicator, how to be more patient and it also gives you the opportunity to make friends from all over the world.
I am dedicated to help students and young professionals to experience the life changing effects and beauty of living and working in another country and to assist employers to find international talents with outstanding costumer service skills and a hospitality personality.
